Chippenham Folk Festival 27-28th May

The customary rain arrived for the festival on the first night, making the campsite extremely muddy. Canooists (or canooers or canoodlers?) were practicing in one of the camping areas. Nonetheless, the weather improved and we had a good weekend nipping in and out of pubs to dance.

Performers that weekend were Adam, Ann, Chris, Colin, Dave K, Ian, Jenni, Jim J, Jim M, Liz, Louise, Lynne, Mike S, Nigel S, Nikki, Pam, Rachel, Roger, Elaine, and Vera.

	The band for the weekend comprised from left to right: Jim J, Colin, Adam, Mike S, Jenni, Liz (banging something), Rachel. Ian (trombone) and Ann (accordian) are hidden, and Nikki is dancing on the end of a set dancing Clifton.
We danced with Carrig Las for a while and really enjoyed them. They come from West Wales.
