Public Library's Medieval Magic Day

Betjeman wrote: "Come, friendly bombs, and fall on
Slough". Mr Betjeman was a man of impeccable
judgement in most things, but why pick on a delightful
place like Slough?
We had an excellent day
there - we're posed here in experimental face make-up
with Bethel and her mum.
