OBJ Morris - 2026 Scrapbook

OBJ's Wassail at Henry Street Garden Centre, Arborfield

This may be the first recorded wassail held in a Garden Centre!  It seemed appropriate as they supplied apple trees for Colin & Chris' garden, and they probably have more apple and fruit trees there, than anywhere else in Berkshire.

It was a bit of an experiment so we didn't invite other sides.  As it turned out, the garden centre did us proud with plenty of covered space, a small "orchard", good publicity and an appreciative audience.  They even supplied the wassail cake.

We'd like to repeat this in future years and will invite other morris teams to join us.
